StudyLink Panel

Following on from our successful 2014 student panel which shared students' experiences with StudyLink, NZUSA is again joining with StudyLink to help improve the process of applying for student loans and allowances for students.

If you want the ability to be involved in giving feedback to improve StudyLink for students like you, you can sign up using the form below.

In 2014, we facilitated a discussion panel with students from across New Zealand, sharing their experiences with StudyLink. The panel provided students with the ability to share their frustrations with StudyLink while producing substantive suggestions for how StudyLink could improve the application process. As a result of the panel, StudyLink made a number of changes. These resulted in reducing the number of unanswered calls from 800,000 in 2013 to 8,000 in 2015 and reducing the time applications take by half-an-hour through the use of pre-filled forms.

For more information on the 2014 StudyLink Learner Advisory Panel, please find the report here (a press release about the joint work from the Minister can be found here, and one from NZUSA here).

Due to the success of our 2014 panel, we're joining with StudyLink again in 2015. For a chance to be involved, please sign-up below (or click here if you're having any issues).
