Debate - "Student Issues and Tertiary Education"

There is an election on the 20th of September and UCSA, UC Pols and NZUSA have combined forces to host an event where students are able to to engage with our elected representatives.

We've gathered these MPs to battle it out in a controlled debate:

Colin King - National Party MP
Gareth Hughes - Green Party of Aotearoa MP
Tracey Martin - New Zealand First MP
James Dann - Labour Party Candidate for Ilam
Tertiary education is important to the cultural and economic future of New Zealand, there are 420,000 current students engaged in a rapidly changing changing environment.

We encourage all students, staff and friends to come along. Whether you are politically minded or not, this is a great opportunity to gain greater understanding around where our local political parties stand.

Pizza and drinks provided.
